Leverhulme Trust - Increased investment in early careers

The Leverhulme Trust Board has allocated an additional £2 million to the Research Awards Advisory Committee’s budget for Early Career Fellowships. This is in recognition of the increasing demand for Early Career Fellowships, the consistently high standard of the applications received by the Trust, and the importance of supporting researchers in the early part of their careers.

This additional funding means that a total of up to £7.2 million will be distributed via the scheme in 2012 and it is anticipated that over 80 Fellowships will be offered.

The next funder deadline for the Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships is 08 March 2012.
