We are the UK's leading organisation dedicated to realising the potential of scientists and engineers returning to research following a career break

New sponsors support Daphne Jackson Fellows

The Daphne Jackson Trust currently has 6 sponsored fellowship opportunities, which have been made possible thanks to support from 4 new sponsoring organisations. Visit our Current opportunities page, and read on to find out more.

The Daphne Jackson Trust continues to build new partnerships with Universities, learned societies and charitable organisations to support STEM researchers wishing to return to their careers after a break of 2 or more years. Our current sponsored fellowship opportunities are generously supported by the Royal Astronomical Society, The John Innes Centre , Norwich, The University of Leicester and Kingston University, London. We are also grateful to The Royal Society of Chemistry and the Biochemical Society which have also come on board recently and are sponsoring new Fellows.

As the UK's STEM research community realises that more can be done to encourage women to return to research, an increasing number of organisations are recognising that the flexibility, mentoring and retraining that a Daphne Jackson Fellowship offers are key ingredients to a successful return. In the last 18 months alone, the Trust has built new partnerships with 20 sponsoring organisations.

Visit our 'Current opportunities' page for further details and deadlines of sponsored fellowships. And to find out more about sponsoring or hosting a Daphne Jackson Fellowship, please contact us, or visit our 'Sponsors & hosts' pages.
